Ms. Margie Simon has been the face of Perry Hall High School’s James R. Bowerman Media Center for as long as students and teachers remember. The PHHS faculty and staff is saddened by her decision to retire, but she will never be forgotten.

Q: What is your favorite memory about PHHS?

A: The love project after the shooting, seeing the school community come together as a family was so heartwarming.

Q: What will you miss most about PHHS?

A: The students.

Q: What was the biggest challenge you faced being a librarian at PHHS?

A: The year they cut my staff. Going from two librarians to one was difficult, but I managed and kept the library running smoothly.

Q: How do you want to be remembered at PHHS?

A: By making the library a welcoming community.

The Perry Hall community will truly cherish the memories they had with Ms. Simon and wishes her the best of luck with her future endeavors.
